I think it's smart to pull the goalie there. More teams should do it. Blows my mind that they don't.

Agreed, but with the PP on, if you lose possession it's a free shot with no icing at the empty netter.

Wings have a three game win streak. Cue the Lost Boys

Look at the posts directly following Howard allowing a goal after a penalty shot, of all things. Then not a peep after he makes two huge saves to preserve a lead.

Doesn't matter. People posting on the internet has no effect on whether Howard is Below, Above, or Equal to being an average goalie.

It's his on ice play that determines that.

And if people are saying he sucks after one bad goal they too are ignoring half the information to make their remarks.

But you made a sarcastic remark about him being average. (Which, again, he is when you look at ALL the information and not just the info that supports what you want)

Yeah, Bettman has the headset on saying hey guys, we don't want the biggest tv draw and winningest team in hockey for the past 2 decades to get into the playoffs and keep a 20+ year streak going, which means even more coverage. No, not what we want at all, so make calls so the Wings lose. That sounds totally plausible.
