Yeah he did sign on for both. The point is he didn't HAVE to. He chose to stay because the Wings give him the respect that he deserves and let him captain his olympic team in his home country. If they hadn't done that he might have decided to play in them anyway and not resign.

But if he's too hurt to play for the Wings, he should have been too hurt to play for Russia. He couldn't play for weeks before Sochi, then played for two games to get himself in shape for the Olympics, played pretty damn well for Russia, comes back and is too hurt to play again? That's a crock of s*** if you ask me.
