We should let the goose loose by having everyone's profile pic be Nyquist.

Gotta have this game. Everyone on the team needs to push it into overdrive and beat this backup goalie, with Toronto losing, gives us positioning for the rest of the week.

I'd drink to that.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

He does.

The Wings are in this race because Franzen came out of the Olympic break rested and not hurt from playing in Sochi and lead the Wings.

We have a capable 2nd line, and then Jurco can come up when needed.  We just need to sort out our D the same way.

That's why we should try Almquist.

I like Callahan, but he's not wowing me like the other kids have (minus Ferraro).  Good kid, keep working, but I think we've hit the bottom of our NHL-ready prospects.

Granted he's no Dats or Z but I think Sheahan has been good.

Don't forget Tatar ... The kids clearly got some chemistry going

And without a real center to boot.

Sheahan?  That dude has been a pleasant surprise, and he's a legit centreman.  Good 200 foot player to make up for the occasional Tatar kerfuffle.

Franzen is scaring me, he looked really dazed going into the locker room.

I like what I've seen thus far .... He's probably playing it a bit safe cause of the magnitude of the game and doesn't wanna piss off Babcock (who can blame him) but from what I've seen he's been hitting a lot and being physical which we don't have a lot of ... We know he can fight .... And if it was helm on that nice floater pass he made instead of Andersson good chance we could of been up now

And on the plus side I'm sure he won't go 47 games (or whatever it is ) like glendening without scoring a goal

I'm loving all these Nyquist goals, but what about the other 17 players....what the heck!
