Makes since to keep the hottest goal scorer with him :P

I agree the first line needs to start producing. But putting all the eggs in one basket is not the answer. Makes the team far too easy to shut down offensively.

I'd like to get the top line scoring, right now only one line is any good. I just don't think Jurco can get Franzen going. Right now instead of an angry mule we have:eeyoresad.jpg?w=600

I say keep Gus where he is for now, as it is working lol. I think it is a good call to put Jurco with Legwand and Mule instead. Combined with putting Alfie with Helm, it is now 3 lines that can generate something instead of just 1 or 2.

This. It seems that the top opposing D are still keying on the Franzen line. I think that is a big reason Nyquist is lighting it up. If they key on him, it frees up Mule if he engages. I hadn't considered Alfie with Helm, but I like the thought.

I'm at a music ed conference, so I'm watching the game in the Bear's Den at the Hershey Lodge. Great hockey themed bar/restaurant if you ever travel here.

The Canadiens keep winning, but I just don't think they are that impressive. If the Wings were at all healthy, I believe they are definitely ahead of Montreal in the standings.

As I type this, the Canadiens will probably win 6-1 now tonight. Great to have Jurco back -- I really don't like Mule and Alfie together and this gives the Wings three lines with scoring potential now. Alfie has done well with Helm before. You can throw anyone with Mule, but it's all dependent on whether he is engaged or not.

Please Wings beat these derps and make the Chief Derp Subban meltdown as usual so all of LGW can have a laugh and make fun of him and then make gif's and then make fun of him some more.  :D

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

Agreed 100%

I have a feeling Subban is going to take at least one selfish penalty to put us on the PP, and another to nullify one of theirs.

If Jurco's ribs hold up, I think he may spark things with a well placed hit. I'd love to see Glendening get his first, and Miller deserves a point or two since I think he's had some good efforts the last few games. Will Goose show his massive pair tonight or will he treat everyone to curly fries?

Let's Go Wings!

Find a way to win! I miss those beautiful trash goals we used to score all the time banging away in front of the net.

The kid line hasn't taken a shift yet. I wouldn't use our best line either.
