I do expect that once Detroit turns it on (they will... when the young line gets enraged) the Leafs will collapse. UNLESS Bernier becomes a superstar which is possible. I still think that if Detroit gets going they will put up goals no problem.

DISCLAIMER: **I fully realize that this is not exactly what just happened**

BUT...That goal right off the face-off is exactly why I rag on Howard so much. His complete lack of confidence, especially in his puck playing ability (and his utter refusal to try and improve), leads to him CONSTANLY freezing playable pucks. This leads to more defensive zone face-offs and goals like the one you just saw.

(then throw in his rebound control, weak goals, poor positioning, ect...) But mostly this, because it could EASILY be remedied with some practice, coaching, and just a bit of effort on his part.
