Nyquist hasn't had the usual energy since he was put back with franzen. I swear franzen sucks the energy out of the guys he plays with. He doesn't even try out there.

Agreed. I like Datsyuk with Nyquist (who wouldn't?) but put somebody else on the other wing. Alfredsson or Abby, maybe?

Seems like only a few years ago when we led the league in this category.

We have too many defensive defensemen, and they're not even good defensively. Kronwall is the only offensive minded defenseman we have.

I wonder if Holland inquired about Weaver on trade day? Montreal gave up a 5th rounder I believe. If Holland can waste a #1 on Q, he could have bettered a 5th....we'll never know.

Despite the score, I don't think they're playing all that badly. They've gotten several chances, not a lot of good bounces and Montreal has capitalized on every mistake.
