Kindl, Lashoff, Monster all hot garbage tonight. Would have been nice to get at least one point. Absolutely have to beat Buffalo. Also when did Franzen get hurt?

We should have kept Howard in Net. Oh well. Look on the Bright Side of this loss.Toronto Lost so we are still 3 points up on CBJ and 4 Points up on Toronto Still along with NJD. We should have got a point or two out of this game. I wish they would have lost in OT. Oh well. We can't win them all. Time to rest and get ready for Buffalo and hope he have a better start.

I was shocked to see it tied at 3 but moments later they lot in 2 Goals in a row. Oh well. At least we didn't give up.

Jeff O'neill is such a tool, he always dogs the wings on nhl network, still sour about losing in the cup finals I guess.

great third by the Wings, only to be let down by their below average goalies again. D sucks, we all know that, but when Howard and Gus cannot control rebounds, its all on them. Wings had all the momentum, Gus lost this game.

btw, where has Franzen been? Trade him.

I can handle losing, but it stings a lot worse when there is crap reffing. Some absolutely terrible D from Kindl and Lashoff didn't help things. The Montreal Diving Toads are such spotpickers as well, particularly Subban and Emelin.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

Oh well, most disappointing part was coming back only to have the third pairing ruin it. I guess Montreal needs an offside goal to go-ahead in every meeting.

Need to try and minimize Kindl and Lashoff's minutes. Losing E really hurts because one of those plugs would be scratched otherwise.

Gotta get a win on Tuesday. The Devils are only four back and have a very easy schedule. The Wings need four points minimum still.

Damn, Pavs looking rough.

He looks like his injury is worse now that he is "recovered" then when he was injured.

Datsyuk looked fine. Do some of you even watch the game?

Terrible defense and not even close to good enough goaltending to make up for it. I don't think Gus played well, but it's hard to believe that Howard would've done much better the way the D played tonight, and I don't think it would've been good to subject him to this at this stage of the season given the struggles he's had. The way the D played, we were going to lose this game; they were just so incredibly sloppy. We should've been able to at least pull a point out of this one the way the team's been playing lately, but we really threw it away whenever we got the chance.

The guy went 3 weeks with zero conditioning. He'll be fine. He is out of shape, not in serious pain

Emelin checked him from behind (on an angle, but the approach was from behind). Jurco stood up for himself.

We aren't going to win every game.  These games happen.  I guess this board doesn't buy into the old sports cliché of not getting too high or too low.  I don't think Monster played well, but then, he is the back up for a reason.

Didn't get that far, unfortunately. I think Jurco would have jacked him up.

I really hope he's just adjusting to playing again, but it hasn't looked too hot thus far. And however irrational it may be, sometimes I worry when we get guys like Dats back when our kids have been carrying the team. Having someone like him back in the lineup on paper absolutely should make you a better team, but I always worry about how it might affect the way some of the younger players approach playing. I wouldn't be shocked if all parties involved are having to adjust, and I hope that's the case. The only reason I started being okay with missing the playoffs is letting Dats stay off the ice and getting as healthy as possible without having to have setbacks or do more damage.
