I'm sorry for starting more nashville threads, but this deserves a thread of it's own:

Sportsnet Ticker

#Predators are the first team in history to allow 0 short-handed goals in a full 82-game season.

We may not have made the postseason, but we did score 14 goals in the last two games of the season,7-5 against the blackhawks on saturday and 7-3 against the wild on sunday

Trotz will find a job with no issue; man knows his defense and get the most out of his players

While I'm not a preds guy and this is a wings forum I'm all for this kind if post as well. We should appreciate good hockey no matter who's playing it. Congrats preds

That's a pretty amazing accomplishment, I was shocked when I saw it was the first time in NHL history.

As always, all hockey related news regardless of team is welcome here from respected members like PredsFan, thanks for continuing to provide quality information in posts about our one-time rivals. Hopefully things go a bit better for your boys next season with a healthy Rinne and a fresh start.

Except Weber, he's still a nerd. :P

Trotz really knows how to build a strong defensive system what system. I think once you guys start adding some good forward pieces the Press are going to be back in the post season and very dangerous. Best of luck and personally I enjoy your threads a lot

Has that ever been done before by an NHL team?

"First time in history."  I'm guessing not.  :)

Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.

I apologize, I'm half asleep this morning, I read first time in history as first time in TEAM history.
