For the most part I think they let them play. Which I would like to see more of.

I hate Crosby as much as anyone else. However, the refs didn't favor anyone in that game. Two penalties were missed and very very bad ones. A Slew-foot and a stick to the nuts.

Stick to the nuts is old news.  No penalty.  No fine.  No suspension.  Let's get real... this is teh PLAYOFFS!   /sarcasm.

In other news:

Dear Pittsburgh Fans,

Just because your players fall down when hit by an opposing Blue Jacket player does not mean that you should boo if there is no penalty called.

Hitting is still (partially) legal in Ye Olde NHL.

Yours Truly,

e.

Imma let you finish, and your cap numbers are all good and all that, but imma let Kenny figure it out. Kenny's cap numbers were the best cap numbers this year.

It's funny, all six of the Coyotes fans do this too.

I was so happy the Penguins lost I almost peed myself laughing. I could care less the Blue Jackets won but I'm just going to enjoy the Penguins boards tonight and see which referee and/or league official screwed them this time.

Jackets win! First playoff win in club history! They really earned it.

They could take this series. They absolutely could.

You'd think that some of their fans (Pens or Phoenix for that matter) would have learned the game by now.

They won't though.  Even if they continue to out-play the PenWhines the rest of the series, it's still an Ohio Pro Sports team, they are destined to lose in the most excruciatingly painful way possible.

Don't take it from fans on LGW, take it from his peers. NHL players have spoken and they think Tootoo is the dirtiest player in the league.

Get a clue already.

Haha as an osu student, I love this. Couldn't agree more

Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

I can care less for either team. I just want them to beat the s*** out of eachother in a 7 game series just in case the Wings beat Boston and have to face Pittsburgh next.

Wouldn't we play Montreal or Tampa, or am I misunderstanding the new playoff format?

No, you got it. Most likely Montreal unless Tampa can come back

So Ryan Johansen is af****** monster.  How do we get a hold of him?  Seriously, this kid is the league's next superstar.

GMRwings:  "Well, in other civilized countries, 16 years old isn't considered underage.  For instance, I believe the age of consent is 16 in Canada.  There's some US states where it's 16 as well.

Get off the high horse.  Not like she was 10."

Well that little girl needs to learn a lesson or two or 10 so unless someone stabbed him with their skate I couldn't care less what calls got missed on him.
