I told you guys just relax we had this one bos came in and took us to lightly because all the nhl fanboys picked them to dominate us f*** them I love our guys

I don't think Boston took us lightly. They played really, really good. It was a very even game. I think we just saw that Detroit is, in fact, on the same plane as the Bruins. Very closely matched team.

It's just one game, but it would be amazing for an 8 seed to beat a President's Trophy winner, when their best player isn't even in the lineup during the series.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Everyone talking about Boston's forecheck... What about ours?? We are absolutely relentless and flat out way quicker then them. I don't think they can handle our forecheck

I think my neighbors lost their sleep. ;)

They are probably up already drinking getting ready for the afternoons football matches.

Key to the series is Jimmy Howard. He came through tonight. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Wow!! What a win! My brother, father and I screamed at the top of our lungs when Datsyuk scored. What an amazing move by Pav, guy is unreal. Now ALL the pressure in on Boston in game 2. We took 4 out of 5 this year against Boston, we seem to kind of have their number. What a game.

This. Could have gone either way. Proud of the team nevertheless. Thats wasn't just dumb luck, that was hard work paying off. They were the better and more clever team over two periods.

Just think about when we get Zetterberg back (I'm hoping it's for this series...).  The young guys looked like the best players out there and guys who were often the LGW whipping boys during the season (Quincey, Smith) looked good too.  Quincey especially looked solid and DeKeyser is every bit the player we hoped we were getting.  Great win, now get ready to put in the same effort for Game 2!

Loved that Biron said the Wings had "zero chance of winning this series." Man would that be satisfying to shut that chirp box's mouth.

Biron was a sub .500 playoff goalie. What does he know about what it takes to win.

He's so humble, no celebration whatsoever after he scored he just smiled.
