It just needs to get mixed up, something isn't clicking yet it's the same unit of the same players over and over.

I think Nyquist has been fine, expectations are a bit too high after his late season surge and playoffs are an entirely different monster for a young inexperienced player. The Bruins are doing a good job of locking down a lot of scoring chances and just allowing shots. Our one goal was lucky, there's just next to no room.

Plus, Nyquist's surge has him on everybody's radar, he isn't going to surprise anybody in the playoffs.

Yeah that 2008 team that won the cup had nothing to do with Holland....

I didn't say "had nothing to do with our success". Kenny made good moves prior to 2008 to build that team.

But 2008 was a long time ago. What's Kenny done since 2008?

No it's not.

Chiarelli has done a great job building a team. Holland did a good job sustaining an already immensely successful machine. I think Chiarelli is a better GM in today's NHL than Holland is. Kenny could learn a lot from Chiarelli on how to make good trades and free agent moves.

Chiarelli wouldn't have brought back a Samuelsson or trade a first for Quincey.

They are two totally different style of teams. You can't even begin to compare them.

Wings are fine. It's 3-1 with a period to go, and at worst we go back to the Joe tied 1-1.

Yes it was. It was totally reactionary, over the top, and it made you look fickle. Like "OMFG we’re losing game 2 after winning game 1 so now our GM sucks and I wish we had a team like Boston!!!!!!"

Meanwhile everyone else in the league has, at one time or another wished they had a team like Detroit. Including Boston fans after game 1.

I've been saying that about Holland for the last several years. He's made too many bad moves in recent seasons. Or didn't make enough moves at all.
