A couple notes here....

If the NBC accouncers say its a bad goal, but Mickey calls them idiots, everyone here laughs.

However....

When Mickey says that the clearing attempt by Howard that went off of Brendan Smith's skate was a bad bounce, and yet everyone here says it was all Howard's fault.

Also, when Mickey says that "Howard was not at fault for the loss", everyone here doesn't believe him.

So, in the end, its funny how we like Mickey but we certainly have selective listening skills when it comes to his analysis. Personally I think that Mickey is one of the best hockey color commentators that I have heard, next to Bill Clement.

i think that your taking it to the extreme, what i mean is, i dont think everybody is blamming howie for the lost 100 percent, but i do think that we have reason to say that the stupid bounce or play he made (however you feel about it) can set the pace for a game, make them come on stronger, obiously its hard to win with one goal, as a team we need to be better but i think that howard can steal us a game it would be nice

I don't.

Holmstrom and The Rat are nothing alike.

I agree. I wouldn't want Marchand on this team either. He's a POS.

Regarding Homer, I was referring to the 'pest and crease crasher' part. Of course, Homer played that role in his unique way and was undeniably the best at it. I don't think anyone could deflect shots from the point like he could. The Wings were never able to fill the void he left.

Was Mickey calling Marchand a whale's ****** when he called him an SD?

Don't say everyone. Howard ain't at fault for the loss. When we score only one goal we will lose more than we win.
