It really does suck when you look back on Alfie's career and think that this is how it is going to end. Especially since there was some hope at the beginning of the season of getting it done and winning a cup finally. He definitely looks like a player who should retire though.

I'd like to see him back for one more go-around. Take a pay cut, play in the bottom six, be a mentor, take some nights off like Selanne did this season.
