Some idiotic Boston fans and is not reflective all their fans. Every fan base has morons like this unfortunately.

Stop giving them a pass. Wings fans haven't done anything like that, and I can't imagine them doing it either.

Boston has some decent fans, but they have a ton of entitlement issues.

This is so true. A bad Wings fan is someone who leaves the game halfway through the third, or complains about the current goaltender.

A bad Bruins fan (much like the Flyers) is just plain "bad people".

I'm going to defend her. I grew up in rural Michigan. I'd like to say that Wings fans wouldn't do this, but sadly A LOT of them would. Don't think so? Spend about an hour in any dive bar in Osceola County Michigan.

Or throws a banana at Wayne Simmonds.

Just an observation - this is also racism.

It's more like socio-economic stereotyping isn't it?

I was just trying to be funny and tbh I know nothing about that part of Michigan.

I grew up in a rural part of Canada so what Kip said invoked a mostly white demographic, at least in my mind.

So again, not racist. More of a bad stereotype, which is no better in some ways.

Either way my apologies if I've offended anyone.

After hearing that fans were throwing trash at the Habs and seeing all the racist tweets after the game, I gotta say if I were a Bruins fan I would be ashamed to watch my fellow fans do that. I know that obviously not all of their fans act this way but Jebus Christ whoever was contributing to it truly is the turd stain on the underpants of society.

Montreal better starts moving their feet and tighten up defensively otherwise the Bruins are easily taking over and I can't wait for that. Bunch of divers, whiners and showboaters.

Also *lol* at everyone thinking that a whole fanbase can have no bad apples, newsflash every fanbase does and always will. The Habs fanbase is known for hating Anglos lifing in Montreal, Quebec AND for rioting after a win so that's disgusting.

Why would the bruins fans tweet racist comments to pk,when his brother malcom is with the bruins ahl team.

Not to mention, they have an African American on their team (Iginla)

True enough, But I also think that it's fairly common knowledge that certain forms of discrimination are considered less heinous than others by whoever it is that makes the "rules".

The same day all the stuff hit the fan with Sterling, Shaquille O'Neal made a derogatory remark about a man with a rare genetic condition. He said sorry, spoke with the guy and declared him cool and all is good and the media barely took notice.

Well I consider myself politcally uninterested and firmly in the middle ground (not left, not right) but I will say this: riot = destroying other property piss....g at your city is one of the worst things a fanbase can do. So speaking of rules I guess if have my "own" definition of whats worse than other things and what isn't.

For me the series comes down to a few facts: a hardnosed blue collar original 6 team with a lot of likable players versus a very entitled one with two of the biggest and most arrogant players this game has ever seen and a very soccerlike playstyle (divers) so the choice is easy here.

I truely believe some Wings fans are still pissed that Boston manhandled us so easily

They're both stupid, just in different ways.

I don't think Wings fans are really mad at Boston for winning the series. I think most know that they were the better team and don't hate them any more than any other team.

Lol wings 6 goals in 5 games montreal 4 goals in 1 game. They may play a similar style as the wings, but they are not the same team.

Yeah two differences in game 1: Rask for his standards only mediocre and Price playing out of his world (he is not that good). The only team which should have at least a change are the Kings but their schedule is tough after the Wild Hawks and then Boston...

Babcock should have the team look at the powerplays of this series. The defensemen launches rocket one timers on goal every chance they get. It takes forever for any Red Wing defenseman to get a shot off.

Adding Sproul, Niskanen, and Pulkinnen to the team next year would help.
