Is it just me, or has Crosby become rather lazy defensively? He was never the greatest defensive player, but he seemed really bad tonight.

There were quite a few shifts he floated on the backcheck or went for a change when the puck was going the other way.

he looked scared at times IMO.

rangers played well though. I thought they deserved the W

Probably has PTSD from the beating Brandon Dubinsky gave him in Round 1.

If lundqvist can be that good against Boston if they win, they could have a shot at the finals.

I'm still hoping that the Kings make a comeback and take out the Hawks.

I'll be cheering for anyone against the Hawks, from here on out. The worst thing about hating those scumbags is they just keep winning.

I bet Jacques Martin gets promoted to head coach, if he's up for it. I wouldn't mind Bylsma behind our bench as an associate coach, if he'd be up for it. Though, I don't think he'd serve under a less experienced guy in Blashill.

Is it a foregone conclusion that Boston is beating Montreal then?

I'd say Crosby is one case where you do have to think about adding an enforcer, or at least a player or two who will largely fight his battles. Crosby should only have to focus on scoring. He doesn't play on the PK, he's not remotely physical. If he's having to grind it out against someone whose sole purpose in life is to make him absolutely miserable on every shift he takes, he's not going to be very effective. Even if he manages to produce, it's going to take a lot out of him.

An ever-growing bandwagon is  in support of Disco Dan going to Vancouver.
