Short, but interesting article about Red Kelly.


Personally, I love reading the stories where the owners/managers/coaches traded people because they were mad at them. Haha.

It was the worst move in Wings history.  Kelly ended up winning four more Cups and switching positions (was there ever a more versatile player?)


The way he left was unfortunate, but I've always thought it's embarrassing that his jersey isn't hanging from the rafters.  He belongs up there with those other names. 

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Mr. Adams' ineptitude as a General Manager singlehandedly cost the Club X Stanley Cups. 


Having been just one in a long and illustrious list of former Captains, one team did have enough of an appreciation of his talent that they retired his number:
