Michigan Entertainment Sports is going to be launched this fall on various cable providers in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. They have signed a 3 year deal with the Grand Rapids Griffins and plan to pickup games from smaller college schools, not in the Big Ten, minor and junior level teams along with High School sports across the state. Should be interesting to see what will become of this station, but good news for Wings and Griffins fans. Then again, there are multiple cooking channels so I guess there's a market for everything if the operating costs are kept low. I wonder how widely available the channel will be.
