frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted June 21, 2014 Great game for the fans and the media but for the team not so much, starting with a hefty loss is never a confidence builder.
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted June 21, 2014 Great game for the fans and the media but for the team not so much, starting with a hefty loss is never a confidence builder. The Wings had Boston's number in the regular season; no reason they can't get back to that. 3 Hockeymom1960, krsmith17 and puckloo39 reacted to this

frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted June 21, 2014 It could be worse. The Kings are raising their Stanley Cup banner in a home opener against the Sharks. I always thought this thing is overhyped, once the new season starts I doubt opponents still care about the past season. Maybe they'll use it as a motivation and spoil their party. Maybe they'll use it as a motivation and spoil their party. I think most times it is, but the Sharks had a historic meltdown against the Kings after being up 3-0. Now they have to watch the Kings raise the banner. It seems almost cruel. And even if they spoil the party, the Sharks have already proven they're great at dominating the regular season. Well, they could have made the Kings home opener against the Hawks, which would have been even more cruel right?
Hockeymom1960 5,107 Report post Posted June 22, 2014 I just may go to that home opener. Wings did have Boston's number during the regular season and there is no reason that they can't beat them. 1 puckloo39 reacted to this

wings4thecup06 504 Report post Posted June 22, 2014 interesting look, and the last 8 games or so don't appear to be (at this stage) too hefty: @ NYI vs OTT vs BOS @ MIN vs WSH vs CAR @ MTL @ CAR Then again, I'm really really hoping that we won't need to be looking at these games that are late in the year hoping we get in!! SimonSin 192 Report post Posted June 23, 2014 That first month is pretty brutal. But I expect the squad to be healthy and ready for the new season. Hopefully we make some trades or signings and we can get back to having some consistency. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this

rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted June 23, 2014 Interesting schedule. Glad to be done with the Leafs before the new year, hate dealing with my bozo friends On the contrary. This is the worst time to play the Leafs. The best time to play Toronto, traditionally, is late February - early April 5 wings4thecup06, Detroit \# 1 Fan, Euro_Twins and 2 others reacted to this
