frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) Wow that's a good hire and a much better one than Torts was. Guy seems to be a demanding players coach. I've went to the Pens board and most of them are now concerned about the influence of Morehouse (non hockeyguy doing too much PR stuff for their liking) and others are well..still clinching on the hope of getting Babcock next year. At this point I would not be shocked if Pens next headcoach will be Ron Wilson. Personally I really think they've dropped the ball on the Shero firing, the guy is one of the better Gms in the league, his only mistake was connecting himself to the faith of Bylsma instead of canning him last year and of course the Morrow for Morrow trade. As for the chance of coaching Sidney Crosby well Babcock did it and it seems like the guy is commited to playing a team game if the structure is right (ie. team Canada).
