I got 54/137. Definitely the hardest one so far. Some names on there that would've taken me forever to guess.

Try it out

No linky. ;)

Most nights, my posts are brought to you by some sort of IPA and a heaping dose of sarcasm.
Success has a thousand fathers, failure is an orphan.
We not score, is hard to win. - Pavel Datsyuk #13

There used to be one for NHL players locked out in 1995, 2004 and 2013.  This one is even harder because of how many names are on it.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

That one was tough.  When the answers appeared, I found myself thinking, "Wow, he's that old?" a lot.  I guess that means that I'm old if I find them to be young.

One of these days I will be able to spell Robitaille under pressure.  I can do it now, but when the clock's running, forget it!

I thought for sure Forsberg would be on that list, but I guess the first lockout year was his rookie season, so it is kind of a toss up on that

So much of Sporcle is getting the right spelling.  There's a Wings one for their top 50 or 100 scorers all time, and I'll be damned if I could spell Ray Sheppard correctly.  Spent most of my 10 minutes trying and failing combos of that one.

"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

You could always Google the spelling

If you can spell Nieuwendyk or Ciccarelli correctly, you can do anything in this world.

I'm half-way there.  If I can ever spell Joe, I'll be invincible.

(As I was typing this, I typed Jow instead of Joe.  I'm in more trouble than I thought.)

He Needs To Retire A Red Wing.

When Gordie Leaves Us, the NHL MUST Retire The #9.
