Only good part is once I get high enough in rank, the really good kids don't glitch.

I just discovered, on the Xbox One version of NHL 15, if you unlock the achievement titled "Home Ice Advantage" by winning 25+ home games in one season of be a GM mode (You can select a top team like the Kings and sim the entire season and have this unlock easily) the achievement art is a back row view of Joe Louis Arena ice, with the Wings championship banners, Scoreboard, the giant hanging purple octopi, and full view of the ice.

What you can now do is make achievement art as your dashboard background, so you can select this pic and have Joe Louis Arena with Red Wings goodness as your backdrop. When you go to Apps and Achievements, click on NHL 15 and find this unlocked achievement and hit A on it. What follows is a menu to "Set as background" to make this picture your permanent dashboard art.

$1 for every game won including BottleOfSmoke butt pats in the GDT

$5 for every series win

$1 for every Photoshop War submission I post

A flat donation of $10 regardless of what happens in addition to any conditions met above because it's for a good cause.

Current Total - $15

Do you have a picture of what it looks like?

Thats the image you get when you unlock the achievement and can set as your background. Granted the tiles take up a lot of the middle and you can't see too much of it, but around the border you can see the Wings banners and whatnot. It's cooler than having just a solid color as your backdrop.

That is pretty sweet. If the tax refund is good I may get a One, otherwise it will be summertime.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

Anyone play HUT on the one?

Im one of the few who doesn't fork out money so im checking to see if anyone wants to work on collections together?

Pavel datsyuk is the best player in the world because he snatches the puck from unsuspecting players and  follows it up by the simultaneous undressing of the defence pairing. The goalie then gives up, and flops like a fish. The end result is a calm skate back to his bench  where he can bask in the praise of his multiple girlfriends from the motherland.

Never could get into HUT, also pouring more money into EA for cards seem foolish.

Its amazing how many people spend money on it. I don't understand

Theres a site where you can buy pucks; 1 million cost 275$ or something like that and people do it

There's a guy that streams his pack openings online every year when the new NHL launches and he spends $500 on packs.

Pure insanity. I'm fine paying $10 for DLC on a game that I love, but have never, ever spent anywhere close to $100 for in-game content.

Yeah pretty crazy to spend such a large amount of money on such a game mode.

I finally got Datsyuk the other day, just by buying cards for cheap then selling them off.

Takes some time but once I put my mind to it I got enough in about 3 days

How are you guys able to play HUT? I have never done HUT and don't plan on it. I just don't see the enjoyment of trying to stack your own team and go against there stacked team. Also I hear you can boost players to 99? How's that any fun boosting? I just don't get it.

Oh I don't play HUT at all, I think it's a terrible game mode and matches you up with the greasiest players on the servers that try to curl drag wrister top corner or go cross crease opposite side all game.

Oddly enough, I do redeem my puck rewards from playing club and OTP just to collect cards and build a decent team but I never play the games. Only modes I play are GM Connected and Club/OTP.

I find there is way too much exploitation against AI players and goalies when you play versus. When you play 6 v 6 OTP it's entirely human controlled and the human controlled goalies if they are solid can stop a lot of the glitchy stuff.

I never liked it before but I need a rewarding game mode when I play. GM mode has been destroyed, and compared to Madden its a joke. I refuse to spend an additional dime on this game, but theres NOTHING else to play on it anymore.

Glitching has actually been improved on XB1, I don't get as many bad players anymore but obviously theyre still there.

Regarding the stacked teams, yeah I've played some ridiculous teams but mine isnt even good. My second line is grabner - vermette - filpulla. My whole team is based on speed and thats why I like to play it. I find the teams that are stacked the player actually sucks so it balances out. Its actually fun to destroy these kids who probably  spend upwards of 100$ on theyre team to try and actually look good at NHL

I haven't ran into any problems of anyone glitching for a couple games now. Usually when they try I am able to block it. I stick with 1V1, everything else is boring now that EASHL is not in.
