kipwinger 8,520 Report post Posted October 4, 2014 I actually feel a little bit for Brunner. He's obviously not a fourth line player, but the Devils have acquired a ton of top 9 wingers, so it's probably a struggle to get ice time. Between Ryder, Ruutu, Jagr, Clowe, Cammalleri, Havlat, there probably isn't a lot of ice time for Damien. Hence he's rumored to be on the block. The kid's made a bad decision or two in his time in North America, but he does have the talent to score goals if put in the right situation. I'd like to see him land on his feet. 2 Hockeymom1960 and BottleOfSmoke reacted to this

Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted October 4, 2014 Dan Carcillo back to Chicago on a one year deal. Happy for him, but he needs to get back to playing the way that got him into the league.
canadian wings fan 305 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 In other news... @Ledger_NJDevils: Damien Brunner frustrated he hasn't cracked Devils' top 3 lines. http://t.co/RO9ODntkE3 you know what...I was feeling nostalgic and went to youtube and looked up some Brunner Red Wings highlights. He was a good fit here, too bad he booked it for the money 1 BottleOfSmoke reacted to this
RyanBarnes! 293 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 you know what...I was feeling nostalgic and went to youtube and looked up some Brunner Red Wings highlights. He was a good fit here, too bad he booked it for the money I would have to disagree. Brunner wasn't good enough to play top 6 and too one dimensional for bottom 6 duty. I think he is the prototypical 13th forward.
