Mckinley25 677 Report post Posted September 14, 2014 I think he is a bad example. Washington has been a terrible team for awhile with only a few good players. A couple players can't carry any team in te playoffs. He's a bad example because we're talking about Ville Leino, but look what Steve Yzerman had to do to help the Wings become a contender. It is always more difficult to win with one dimensional players.
Euro_Twins 4,469 Report post Posted September 15, 2014 I am not saying you have a better chance of winning with one dimensional players, but the original statement was there is no place in the league for that, but there is plenty of room, as guys like that will always get signed. There's lots of them in the league and always will be
LeftWinger 4,908 Report post Posted September 15, 2014 No Leino....we got Cleary, Quincey, and Kindl. Oh....hey Ville, you interested? Even the soft Euro would hurt less than those three on the roster.
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted September 15, 2014 Ovechkin is lazy, selfish and as one dimensional as they come. Mark my words the guy will be the next Kovalchuk

As dynamic as Crosby. Plays point on the PP. I actually think he is one of the more multi-dimensional forwards in the league. He's been lazy on the back check lately, but that's really the only blemish on his record. Kovalchuk was never the media and fan icon that Ovechkin is. I think Ovi stays in NA for longer than you think. 1 jimmyemeryhunter reacted to this
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted September 17, 2014 There is no way in hell that the Bruins are going into the season without an enforcer, they either have someone to replace Thornton from within or have to sign a guy very soon.
number9 3,297 Report post Posted September 18, 2014 Me thinks they just might have a few guys from Providence (AHL) that they could call up. Then again - I hope they don't, and Lucic can fend for himself. Or ya kno... they just don't role a typical enforcer... like 20 other teams 1 krsmith17 reacted to this
