rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 I'm thinking out of Nestrasil, Ferraro, or Callahan that Nestrasil has the best chance of not being waived. 3 Wingsfan72, ben_usmc and rick zombo reacted to this
wings_fanatic 677 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 One thing is for sure. Oulette is so much better than kindl it isn't even funny. So much more composed, a better skater, smarter. I will be extremely disappointed in babs if he opts to play kindl over oulette. On a final note, good for goose to score in the shootout... Maybe confidence booster to get him going a bit more. 1 ben_usmc reacted to this

Considering that 2 of the first 3 games are against Boston as well, winning this one should be good for the team's confidence.

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 Hey all, for those of you lucky enough to watch the preseason games, how has Weiss looked? He's skating a lot better than last year, and getting more involved in the play, but I would still like to see more out of him. He hasn't been a difference-maker yet, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt (at least for now) considering he essentially hasn't played in a year. PavelValerievichDatsyuk 1,935 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Anyone else want to admit that Quincey had a really good game? He showed some good offensive push as well. If he plays like this year i'll be happy. Edited October 5, 2014 by PavelValerievichDatsyuk 2 krsmith17 and marcaractac reacted to this

joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 I tend to play Devils advocate with Quincey. He really is most of the time our 3rd/2nd best defensemen. I feel Ericsson has been a tad overrated here and would not look great with another partner

I feel Ericsson has been a tad overrated here and would not look great with another partner I never understand this argument. Player X only looks good becuz he's playing with Player Y. Well, what's the problem then? Ericsson will play with Kronwall during the season. It's like being upset that your tennis shoe doesn't feel comfortable when worn with a dress shoe on the other foot. If you're only going to wear it with the other tennis shoe, does it really matter??? A player that can make his partner look good is certainly preferable to someone that depends on his partner.
WhiteLightning91 105 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 If Kronwall gets injured, and Ericsson s***s the bed, then you deal with the problem then. Until then, Cleary, Quincey, and Kindl take up enough bandwidth on this forum. I think we can save the whining regarding the "what if Kronwall gets injured and Ericsson sucks without him" dilemma for when we cross that bridge. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this
