I still want revenge for the abuse Pasha took, period. It shouldn't have been up to a guy like Sam to do that stuff, if McKee would be in the AHL call him up but he isn't so using a guy for 5 minutes if needed, is not the worst thing in the world.

Hockey isn't soccer but with the way the game is changing, rats taking over and divers all over the place it's getting closer..which isn't a good thing for guys who like real hockey.

Callahan may be an agitator but he isn't a pure rat like Marchand, Burrows

Me too. Revenge is a must. Dishing out a clean hit must be paid for in blood.

McGrattan provides leadership and does score some goals here and there too, so the guy is not a liability. I would love to have the next DMac, Probert ... but finding the next Dmac is way harder than adding a player for nothing and play him against teams where he will be needed (Sens, Bruins, Leafs and of course Pens with Scuderi) ?

Doesn't matter if its the AHL, NHL I want to see our guns going outthere and being able to safely do whatever they want (like McGrattan phrased it).

I wouldn't consider a guy who scores 10 goals in 309 games a guy who scores goals here and there. He provides nothing offensively, even in the assist column he has 17 in his career. I have never read anything about him being considered a locker room leader.

I've said this before, putting a guy like McGratton on your team does nothing. He may have gone after Scuderi, but Scuderi wouldn't have fought him, the Penguins goon would fight him, nothing changes except you get a fight between two goons. I would take a guy like Scott Hartnell any day, but I have no desire for McGratton, Orr etc.

The problem with that is simple: Hartnell is tough but he doesn't strike fear into another guy McGrattan on the other hand does. I don't think he would have asked Scuderi if he wanted to go or not, Scuderi's only choice would have been defend yourself or else...The Penguins don't really have an enforcer they have Bortuzzo big tough kid but I wouldn't call him an enforcer.

Still not happy seeing Callahan waived.

That's not the case at all. Find me one single time in which McGrattan just attacked a guy for a clean hit. Also, why (in your fantasy scenario) is McGrattan on the ice with Datsyuk in the first place? McGrattan, like most heavy weight enforcers, only fights other heavy weight enforcers. So no, he wouldn't have jumped Scuderi. And even if he had, he'd have just got a suspension for it the way your boy Shawn Thornton did when he mugged Brooks Orpik for a clean hit. Exactly what did that solve? Certainly didn't "keep the Pens honest" as James Neal kneed Marchand in the head half a period later.

All waived and none claimed. No need to be upset. The other 29 teams decided that these guys are not NHL caliber players and we still have them. They are what they are: depth players. let them lead GR to another deep PO run.

That's another honorable thing he doesn't also I'm not talking about jumping Scuderi (that's too dangerous) but he could have told him, hey we've gotta have a go here. Also Thornton is not my boy I'm just a fan of the way he has handled himself for so long and he contributed wheter people like to admit it or not.

As for James Neal at some point someone is going to make him pay, he got away with that stupid stuff for way too long.

Dude ur like "the world is flat" With this need for a fighter.

At what point are you not listening and just blindly needing/wanting this?

Pls tell me. I want to know what's motivating this. I'm all for a fighter ( a good one who isn't a one dimensional liability eating up a roster spot) but you make me look like a 100 lb scrub when wet who'd shy from fighting a kitty a cat with this blind blood fervor. You will literally take any guy who can fight won't you?

Dude, you're must making s*** up now. You're now saying "I'm not talking about jumping Scuderi", but in your earlier post you said "I don't think he would have asked Scuderi if he wanted to go or not, Scuderi's only choice would have been defend yourself or else".

Just stop already. Your position on fighters is tenuous, at best, and it's made much worse when you say contradictory things and act like we're all too stupid to notice. You absolutely WERE talking about jumping Scuderi, you're just changing your tune now because you realize it was a dumb thing to say in the first place.
