As much crap as KFQ takes, he has actually been pretty solid lately. Big Rig however has been hot garbage.

Our best pair has been 2-65 by far. I'm really worried about E. Babcock seems to be giving him the opportunity tonight. Already 15 minutes and he hasn't impressed at all.

I think Nestrasil and Nyquist look good. The rest of the team does not look good. I expected a slow start from Z -- he will warm up, probably alongside his team when they stop playing like dog doo. This game is pure punishment.

For the life of me I don't understand why Babs refuses to play Smith on the PP! He has such good offensive instincts. Can make great passes, knows when to shoot, has a good one timer. Our PP would be better with him on it. Play him with Danny D on the point and 3 forwards up front because the whole 4 forwards thing isn't working.

Not playing Smith on the PP is indeed criminal.

Agreed, KFQ has been solid. Ericsson has been sloppy. I wonder how much that hand injury is still bothering him?

u no what we should do, im sorry but i dont think nesty is ready for the nhl, he hasent been much in the last couple games, sooo honestly maybe move helm to the wing and have weiss center helm and nyquist?

I wasn't the one complaining, I was making the point that not every forum member has the option of attending live. Get off your high horse, start a fundraiser yourself and I'll consider donating, though I prefer to make my charitable contributions closer to my home community. As far as obnoxious, you may want to check the mirror, as you are treading in that direction yourself.

Im under no obligation to do anything about it because I never complain about attendance. I do feel an obligation to do something about complaining about people complaining about attendance, and that is why I came up with a solution (2 actually). In short, either do something about it, or quit yer bitching.

E was forced into a role thay he is not meant to fill, 2nd defensemen. But still, he needs to use that size of his.

The thing about E is when he’s bad, he’s bad. He actually dumped Chara hard on the Bruins first PP and got a couple of good hits on Lucic early in the 2nd. Then his brain exploded or something.

Who knows, the finger might still be bothering him.

Ericsson has always been a mediocre defensemen that's not very good at anything but is serviceable. He's forced onto the top pairing while our defense goes from great to terrible and then he's handed a huge contract. 5M for a guy that can't be trusted in his own zone and has never provided any kind of offence in his entire career all the while neutering our best defensemen? Ericsson is #5 defensemen on a good team but he will stay on the top pairing because of how embarrassing his salary is

Come on Frank. It’s obvious that the Bruins are pedal to the metal tonight because they don’t want to start the season 1-4. They are not as god-like as you think.

The words “it’s like a playoff game for the Bruins” were muttered by the NBC sinks several time tonight already.

It’s why a lot of us were worried about an impending loss tonight.

And just for the record I think Boston lost a lot this off season, but they aren't in a treading water situation, thanks to their goaltending and Chara.
