Euro_Twins 4,475 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 Are the canadians this bad at entering the zone usually? Can't imagine they would be winning as many games as they have if that was the case.

kipwinger 8,521 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 I don't remember the last time a Wings defenseman took the puck away from an opposing player in the defensive zone, passed it up to a forward competently, and that forward (along with the others) managed a shot on goal. All our offense comes from the hard work of the forechecks. Kudos to them. But if our defensemen don't start helping create offense, we'll struggle to score, and our team will go nowhere. TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 Indeed. Glad they're in the west. I'm shocked at how often MTL has gone offsides tonight. If we hold them off, I would not want to skate their next practice.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Finally ditching the flaming pads worked Not sure how I felt about that - his iceberg pads were his "thing". I wish Kronner would have wound up a little at least on that chance. Edited October 22, 2014 by Hockeytown0001

Chiarelli is supposed to be so much better than Holland, isn't he? Loving the way our guys are battling. And another offside.
