We have a 5 million dollar Stephen Weiss not playing. Guy could easily get 50 points if Babcock wasn't so stubborn. Also smith literally has the best offensive instincts for the d-men on this team. It's beyond me why he isn't on the pp. Our pp is garbage but we don't use arguably out number 1 offensive d-man. Go figure

We deserved to win this game and we are a far better team then Philly. Then benefited from the refs giving them a bunch of PP's and letting them get away with tons of crap. I still don't think Helm belongs on a scoring line he just does not have the IQ he is a different player and takes away chemistry on that line. I would love to see Jurco play with Pav and Tats. Kindl and Quincy in particular had very bad games on the D side of things. I thought they were far too weak on pucks and their passing was awful.

Other then that, I think we deserved the win. No reason to be overly mad. We played well and it is only a matter of time until the kids start scoring.

This team will not improve until Babcock gets over his hatred on B Smith. Quincey is like an amchor on Dekeysers back. I don't freakin get it. How can he ignore results?

No they didn't. A lot of their momentum came from bad calls that gave them PP's. Somehow, they got more of those then us, despite us outplaying them hugely. And that call on Anderson for the faceoff violation was bad because he used his stick to push the puck back, not his hand. And the call on Kronner was bad because they had a hold of one another and Philly got away with that all game. We got screwed straight up against the Ducks and the Habs by the refs, and tonight the refs played too much of a role in the outcome of this game. Then, in the dying minutes, our best player has his stick slashed out of his hand, and it goes unnoticed? Then seconds later, a clear tripping call that goes unnoticed? I am sick and tired of there being no accountability to refs in this league.
