This is probably a very stupid thing to say... But what would happen if Babs decided to take his team off the ice and take the loss, as a statement to the NHL. What sort of punishment do you think would come towards the Wings for something like that? Because if I was the coach, thats what I would have done.

Interesting idea. I don't think there were any sanctions from the game when a team (Tampa?) was in the trap and sat back for about a minute or so?

Does anyone have any idea why the PP is so pathetically awful? Is it because none of our dmen can get a shot through from the point? It's baffling how bad it is.

They become way to stagnant and don't generate any movement away from the puck...passing also has been an achilles for a few years now

That was the worst officiated period of hockey I've ever seen. I include minor games and god forbid my games too. Thats horrible and someone should be suspended for that.
