Blah. Score in the start of the game & it would have deflated the building and pumped up our guys. Refs completely jobbed us. It's one thing if it happens at the end of the game after you have had had back and forth of play and a chance for seperation. This just has to sap you as a player.

There is NO accountability for the refs. Bettman has them protected regardless of their conduct. If anyone pulled s*** like that at their day job they would be talking to the boss about their incompetence. These guys will just move on to the next game.

The Red Wings have had so many goals called off over the years it is not even funny. And I would not mind if most of them were the wrong call. We should be up 1-0.

But as it is, we are tied despite not playing very well. Babs needs to change the lines. They simply are not working. I am sick of Abby on the top 6. And the kids need a foot in their rear ends to get them going. In the meantime, it is time to play Pav and Hank together.

Z- Pav- Jurco

Tatar- Sheahan- Nyquist

Abby- Helm- Nestrasil

Jurco needs to get working and I like him with Pav and Hank because he is a bigger body who can be strong on the puck. I think giving him a chance with the big guns will help. Nyquist and Tatar have played well together in the past and frankly I just don't think the kid line is doing enough to keep it completely together right now so make that minor change.

That is the problem. Our 3rd and 4th lines become checking lines. That is why I don't get why Weiss is not playing. He better be playing soon because we need offence and we have not even given him a chance yet. I would think this would be much better by the time Weiss and Franzen are playing:

The crazy thing about Holtby's dive is it put him entirely out of position to stop Miller's shot. If he stays up, that's an easy save. So, the goal was a direct result of his stupid dive and he got rewarded for both.
