This is one of those games where we know we should win, so hopefully the Wings keep playing like they have been and pull out a big victory. Should be somewhere in the range of 3-1 or 4-1 Wings.

I don't like inserting Franzen into the 2nd line with Nyquist. The kid line FINALLY had a really dominant game last game- Sheahan, Tatar and Nyquist dominated most of their shifts and generated tons of chances. Goose and Tats both scored. I have been calling for Babs to play Tats and Goose together and he finally did and they had a great game. Now, he chances it up and puts Franzen up there and puts the original kid line together that has not worked yet this year. We will see how it goes, but I would rather see Franzen play on the 3rd line with Helm and Jurco.

Agreed. This also seems to be where Jurco plays his best so hopefully this gets him going. The Helm/Jurco line I thought was mostly ineffective.

I've been really impressed with the way the season has played out so far this season, hopefully they are all up to a game against BUF.

Howard is playing well too. Just checked his stats and he's ranked 11th in SV% (.929) and 9th in GAA (1.97). That's a far cry from last year when he was ranked in the 30s-40s area. That's gotta help alot and credit where credit is due!! (If only there was a thread to discuss his stats)

The biggest problem I see is that Helm isn't exactly known as a top playmaker, and he's playing with two shoot first guys in Nyquist and Franzen. As much as I hate to say it, I think Z and Dats need to be broken up.

I totally agree. But people tend to think that I'm a "hater" cuz I talk about his numbers when he isn't playing well (which was frequent recently i.e. last year, maybe year before) Just wanted to give him the credit he deserves for his good numbers and our good record so far.

I haven't been here much and I have't been able to watch many games either, but I'm gonna assume you're joking (because wanting to keep track of an important position is all a big joke)
