Strong Penalty Killing, Lack of Scoring the Story of 2014 So Far

Boy, these guys don't know what they're talking about. Maybe they should watch some games before they comment

How are Nyquist, tatar, helm, Jurco, abdelkader, sheahan and Glendenning all the same type of player?

How is Nyquist not a scorer?

And Dekeyser is offensive? Haha

Well, atleast they made a good point about getting rid of Tatar for a guy who can come in and get 20-25 goals. I mean he only had 19 in 70 some games as a rookie, and only has 3 in 11 games so far which only projects out to...hmm, whaddya know, 20-25 in 82.

Don't get me wrong: I love the idea of a radio/blogio place to turn on Red Wing talk, but they really didn't give me any new insights, not even anything I haven't seen here a thousand times.

I thought the Ozzie hall of fame/ jersey retirement debate was interesting, but I didn't think they made very compelling arguments. Hall of fame is one thing, but I think there's no way he gets his jerseys up in the rafters. Detroit is way more selective than that

I'm actually really starting to get behind this tank idea. I'm not sure how well the tracks work on ice, but that thing would be a helluva big body in front of the net

Try keeping that out of the blue paint though. You thought the disallowed goals were piling up now?

Sure but a tank could solve our Brian Mcgrattan problems. A tank may be the only way to defeat Calgary.

One with rubber tracks, of course...and everyone quit visualizing a green tank, it'd have to be red n white, of course.

Try keeping that out of the blue paint though. You thought the disallowed goals were piling up now?

They have back-up cameras now, non issue.

Greetings! We were told you guys had a good debate of last week's Red Wings show so we wanted to tackle some of your comments on air this week: http://wp.me/p2LxGp-V9

Best,

Sports Radio Detroit

I have a few problems with what you say.

And I wouldn't call it being realistic.

My main issue is

Glendenning is not a 3/4 line guy.

He is a fourth line shut down grinder.

There is no wait and see approach on that, that is what he is.

But I did enjoy listening.
