New arena will solve most of this, I think

I don't.

It's a status thing. Holding season tickets is a way for people to put their noses a bit higher in the air. Then they only show up to premiere games and get playoff ticket priority.

Which is fine and all. But I wish they'd all sell thee tickets on stubhub or something if they don't go. But of course they won't.

That's why they have a sellout record of like 150 games but yet stadium is 50% empty on a consistent basis.

Clearly looks average out there at best. Good game tonight smith now has three goals against the devils in 3 games vs them?! Why can't he do it more often

Cleary looking average is fine with me. That's better than he has been.

Kindl on the other hand is showing us why he deserves his 2.4M, at least in the past two games specifically. I think he's been solid all season and I'm glad he hasn't been the weak link that's beating us.

As for referees tonight... I think they let go some obvious calls and had questionable penalty calls. As winners there wasn't much to complain about. As a hockey fan, the refs need a lot of work before I'll watch other teams again.

But bettman said we have the best refs in pro sports

Playoff ticket priority and premiere games, I can agree with. Accusing people of buying tickets so that they can "put their noses a bit higher in the air" sounds like sour grapes on the poster's part.

He's 36 and sitting out the back end of the back to back...:-)

If he misses 2 games is it still considered precautionary? Because at that point it seems more like a problem to me. What's with all these groin issues all the time? It's getting frustrating. It's also disconcerting considering there was apparently a stretcher brought in for him a few games back.

Was that actually for him?

Where did you hear that?

Just mentioned during Wild-Sens 1st intermission, paramedics checked out Datsyuk postgame in Ottawa Tues. Everything was and is fine.

Edit: was posted in another thread. I googled it and found other sources too, basically saying they were being overly cautious. Now we're getting precautionary groin sitting.

Datsyuk is officially out for tomorrow's game. Doesn't seem good. Groins are tricky and he could be out for a couple weeks. Really sucks because I want to beat Tampa SO bad tomorrow. And without Datsyuk that could be tough. Quincey is coming back which is good news because I think he's been pretty solid this year.

Yes, a stretcher for a groin injury? Or 2 separate injuries? this is all very mysterious.

Yeah. I don't see a stretcher being brought in for a groin so I'd assume they're unrelated. I do wish I knew what happened though, and hope it doesn't have anything to do with then keeping him out of the lineup as a precaution for his groin.

Considering he was supposed to be day to day I'm gonna go ahead and assume he's out for a few weeks, because that seems to be the Red Wing way. This groin business is getting out of hand though, are other teams this plagued with these kinda of injuries?
