This happen an hour north of me, in a tournament. Tournament was then cancelled.

Fourteen-year-old Patrick Schoonover of Eagan is dead after going unconscious during a hockey game in Brainerd Friday night.

At 4:25 p.m. on Friday, Brainerd Police and emergency medical personnel responded to a report at the Brainerd Area Civic Center at 502 Jackson Street, to assist with an unconscious player.

According to Brainerd Police, Schoonover had collapsed on the ice during play. A paramedic present at the rink began to administer aid immediately. When police and EMS arrived they administered CPR.

Schoonover was airlifted to Essentia Health St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Schoonover was playing on Eastview Bantam AA team against Wayzata.

The game was a part of the 2014 Blue Ox Tournament. According to the tournament's website, there were 16 teams scheduled to play in the tournament. Bemidji, Brainerd, Elk River, Minnetonka, Moorhead and Sibley were all present. The decision to cancel the rest of the tournament was made on Friday evening.

You might want to add some punctuation after "horrible".
