Is there any chance, if Shark's tank, ( pun intended), they trade Brent Burns?

An immediately serviceable Kindl, Pulkinen, Jenson, and a 1st or 2nd???

Kronwall Burns

Dekeyser Ericsson

Quincey Smith

Slashoff

I think they would keep him. They may be looking to move Thornton or Marleau though for some high picks.

Both players control their own faith with ntc and nmc clauses they are going nowhere but Todd could find himself on the hit seat soon

Brent Burns should be be moved...back to forward. No way does he get traded.

Give me Cody Franson. I like him. Footspeed is an issue, but he's a consistent point-producer, he shoots right, he's good on the power play, and he's got a big frame.

No thanks on any leafs garbage, especially if he can't even keep up with the rest of our team.

Euro_Twins, I don't care what logo a player wears now, Franson would look great on our blueline. Do I think we will land him? Not a chance, but I would love to have him here. He's exactly the type of defenseman this team needs, a big body that hits a ton, shot blocking machine, right handed shot, power-play quarterback. What's not to like? I'd include Ouellet in a deal for him without hesitation.

Franson would be a great addition, but he's a UFA after this year so I wouldn't think it smart to give up a prospect as good and NHL ready as Ouellet for 3/4th of a year of him.

Anyway, no way the Leafs deal him to us.

Franson's had some problems negotiaing with the Leafs in past years - I'm hoping he wants to check out free agency next summer.

Is there a website that I can go to which will show me when our prospects are out of minor league options and have to go through waivers to be sent down? Or do any of you happen to already know?

capgeek.com has a 'Calculate Waiver Status' option if you drill down on individual players

Thanks!

So according to capgeek, Pulkkinen is the only one who loses his waiver exemption status next year. Additionally, Ferraro, Callahan, Aubry, Miele, McCollum, and Porter are currently not waiver exempt. Does this sound correct?

Pulkkinen has has 23 points in 18 games. (9g, 14a) His trade value is at an all time high. Maybe him, Kindl, and a pick for a top four D.

"Wings need a sniper!"

"Omg Pulkkinen has the best slapshot since Hull!"

*Trade him for other teams expendable D-man*

Kill yourself

Throwing an idea out there. No need to be a name caller.

Idiot. There, I live up to my name

That's just how he is. He will never change. There used to be rules here...

Been hearing all day how buffalo let teams know chris stewart is available, just curious what do you guys think he would cost? He's been having an awful year , last year on his deal

I could see him playing with pavel and maybe getting it going again and he's a big body and a guy I can see being useful in the playoffs

3rd round pick?

He's never "had it going" there's a reason he's the first available
