Mark Bernwagner 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 Why doesn't Miele get an extended shot at the show? They guy has 11 points in 12 games. He has proven over the last 3 seasons that he can crush the AHL. Averages almost 1 point per game over this span. If he's not going to get a shot here, I struggle to understand why we signed him You can follow all the Red Wings verified twitter accounts on TweetLeet http://www.tweetleet.com/detroit/redwings/
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 Because he's a fringe AHL player, and we needed depth at the AHL.
Mark Bernwagner 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 How is he a fringe AHL player based on his stats. Led the Portland Pirates in scoring the last two years. How does this make him a fringe player?
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 I meant "He's a fringe NHL player**" Not AHL. If he was anything more, he'd be up. And once he plays in our system for a while, he may get a chance.
Mark Bernwagner 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 Why would he bother signing here. We are so deep with the Griffins. He'll never get an extended look. He should have looked for a spot with a team like Columbus that is really thin and willing to give guys extended looks.
