The first period hasn't been kind to him, but the D was awful as well. The first goal NJ scored his helmet came off. Bad luck like that. But he has also came up huge. Wings showed they smartened up when killing a near 2 minute 5 on 3 to kill, and allowing just 1 shot.

I think it embarrasses the officials more trying to figure out who is embellishing than the act itself. Unless someone throws their head back when a stick never came near them or something along those lines, it's impossible to say who is embellishing and who isn't. Not to mention, the embellishing is usually what catches the officials attention.
