What a legend! Yes its a tough time in the hockey world lately. I only hope that my kids will have these types of players for role models or heros. Not dirt bags like Kane doing push ups with stacks of cash on his back..........

That goes with the kind of salary athletes are being paid nowadays. Hard to be humble when you're getting that kind of cash in your early 20's or late teens.

Mr.Beliveau will always have a place in my heart.

When my father was dying of lung cancer, my younger brother, whom like my dad is a huge Habs fan, sent a letter to the Canadiens organization requesting words of encouragement. Within a week, he received a letter for my dad, it was a hand written letter by Jean Beliveau wishing him the best, and thanking him for his many years of fandom.

I will never forget the look on my dad's face after reading that letter. It truly brought him joy in a very difficult time.

R.I.P. Mr.Beliveau
