I'm thinking a 5-2 with the goals all spread out..

Hey,I got the score right! :P

Hell of a game to be at. Not sure how it looked on tv but it looked like we were playing well..? Glad to see Weiss producing.

And helm with 2...who would've ever guessed this? Lol

His one goal (second I think?) was so dirty too! Perfect passing then a little patience and hands on helms part.

Laviolette says hi. Babs will never win a Jack off Adams. It's unfortunate

I was just waking up when I read this, and I thought it was just a really funny typo, until I saw it was you that posted it.

I think Weiss still had plenty of supporters around here.

Supporters for sure, he's a red wing...

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't start to think of the other options when he got reinjured in grand rapids.

Listened to the game at work. After the win they compared this team to 2009. If babcock doesnt get coach of the year and holland getting gm of the century itll be wrong, about as wrong as babcock leaving in the off season, after all the work and development. I give them a 3 year window. If theres not another cup in detroit by then, zombies are gonna eat us all . In my video game experienced opinion, they are a forward and a dman away from being the model franchise again, or still.

They are definitely a few pieces away from being a contender, but those pieces seem to be harder and harder to come by...

Especially on the back end, unless we over pay or one of our kids takes a gigantic step forward faster than anyone else we've ever has has.

If goal of the year was a team thing, instead of individuals, I'd vote for the Weiss goal from Sheahan and Jurco...

All three forwards were in perfect position, Weiss fore checking down low, then Jurco speed creates the turnover, and he makes a beautiful pass through a defender to sheahan who gave it to Weiss with an open Net.

It was like we were the Harlem globetrotters of hockey.

Beautiful passing play.

Something I sorely miss from our 08&09 teams.

Someone please tell me you can get me video of the phantom high stick crying fiddler took? Man it was so bad I thought I was watching a soccer game. Stick hits him in the shoulder and he throws his head back and grabs his mouth like he was just punched by Tyson. It was listed all game as a high stick but this morning they changed it to interference...hahahahah

Yesss! haha that was so great. Everyone's passing seemed on most of that game. That was a pretty goal for sure.

Weiss didn't skate today, per Malik. Hope he's just resting or something

It says he was a game time decision last night (groin).

That must have been what Babcock meant when he said there could be a possible game time line-up change before last night's game.

I read an article about Weiss a while back that said when Weiss had the groin surgery the doctor also advised him to have a hip surgery. Weiss decided against having both surgeries at the same since it would keep him out a lot longer. It didn't mention the nature of the hip issue, but it told me that Weiss does have some issue there. He's been skating great, in my opinion, so maybe it's not something that effects performance.

I apologize for not having the article as a link. I searched for a while and couldn't find it. Maybe someone else read that article?

Wonder if that means he'll have another surgery next summer
