Games on network television?

I recently moved back to metro Detroit. Is there a channel I can I watch games over the air without cable or satellite service?

I have not had very much luck finding something.

The last couple of years a few weekend games have been on NBC in the later part of the season, that's likely your best option for over the air. Online , Gamecenter Live is your legal option.

NBC shows some of the weekend games and the "Wednesday rivalry" games. Looks like most of those for the Wings have already happened though. The Wings schedule says there will be 3 games aired on NBC in March but it looks like none until then.

I think most of us have either cable or satellite or some sort of internet hockey package.

Maybe just go down to a local bar to watch the games if you don't want cable or satellite?

Also, if you're in the Detroit area, you should be able to pick up some of the Canadian OTA signal as well. Other than that, just NBC games....which are usually Sundays.

Is there NHL hockey on broadcast TV anywhere in this country anymore? Besides the scraps NBC throw us once in a while.

You might be able to get CBC, but its much more difficult since they went Digital. Take a look....Red, Yellow, and Green areas should be good with an antenna you stick in the window or put on the wall:
