I love listening to stuff like that while I'm working, doing chores, and I'm still learning about hockey. Plus I like hearing people discuss this kind of thing. I had a serious blast last year listening to the Octopod, and it helped me get up to speed real fast. But they aren't doing it again this year. Right now I am subscribed to Winging it in Motown, but they only release one like once a month. I also listen to Red Wings SRD, but they are also real short and I blow through them fast. But there are a few great overall hockey podcasts that are great for following the sport as a whole. My favorites are The Puck Podcast (weekly), Marek vs. Wyshynski (generally Mon-Fri), Hockey Central @ Noon (Mon-Fri), and The Illegal Curve Hockey Show (weekly). Any other hockey podcasts beyond those 4 is pretty hit and miss when it comes to consistently delivering new episodes and/or can tend to ramble on about topics irrelevent to hockey. I can pretty much agree with that, usually I've also listened to Jonas Siegel and their Leafs-Show of course Leafs heavy but also some solid information about the whole NHL. Sadly no update since September The PuckPodcast and Marek vs Wyshynski are my two favorites. Then there is Beyond Checkerdome a St. Louis Blues Podcast buy very funny with infos around the league.
