I don't even know what to say. That was a pitiful loss, PITIFUL. And half of thef****** arena was Leafs fans, that's embarrassing. If we play the Leafs in the playoffs they'll have home advantage the whole series. Good job "Hockeytown"

Leafs fans only act loud on the road. At home they sit around like blind mice with their mouths shut.

Need to start punishing players for their shootout performances. If you miss the net in the shootout, next shootout your butt should stay on the bench. Tired pf rolling out the same 3 players

I'm just going to blame NBC for everything that went wrong tonight, namely Reimer.

But I'll blame Howard for the shootout. The guy's been really damn good this year, no doubt, but for the love, it just seems like he is about as bad as they come in the shootout. I could be wrong, as I don't pay much attention to shootout stats for him and other goalies, but we sure seem to get the short end of the stick in the shootout when he's in net more often than not.

I ******* hate the leafs, particularly that neanderthal Phaneuf. So sick of seeing that cave man cheap shot everything. And how many times am I going to have to watch Howard let in 5 hole shots? Overall the Wings played good and I'm happy for that over being dominated but at the same time and considering who it was against, it makes for such a frustrating loss.

Disappointing outcome, but the Wings outplayed them badly the entire game and just couldn't come up with with another goal.

Hard to be upset, really. Sometimes the other goalie just stands on his head and steals a game.

The power play didn't look very good, though. Franzen on the point isn't working. Well, nothing with Franzen is working right now, but that's really a failed experiment.

Kinda strange two of the Wings past three losses are to the Leafs and the other is to the Panthers. Hopefully can make up for that on both Friday and Saturday.

Franzen the last few games has come out flying in the 1st period and then absolutely shuts down for the 2nd and 3rd. Is it a conditioning thing or a mental thing? Either way it's frustrating.

This. I say we bench Franzen. I am sick of his lazy effort and every line he plays on seems to slow down. Since getting away from Hank, Hank looks sharper. Now since being put with Weiss, Weiss has slowed down. Franzen is not competing so bench him.

Yeah they suck in the shootout. But, that's just a distraction from the main issue tonight, which was failing to put more than one puck in the net.... at home... against a backup goaltender... and a team that played the night before.

Score some freaking goals in regulation and you won't have to deal with your sucky shootout abilities.
