Need help selecting Yzerman jersey to buy

Hey everybody,

This is my first post on this forum. I'm a die hard Wings fan who no longer lives in Michigan. Regardless my devotion to this franchise has not withered. I am looking to replace the Yzerman jersey I had as a kid because it no longer fits me. I'd like some advice from you guys regarding two different jerseys I found:

I believe that Detroit Athletic is a legitimate business. My only drawback is that Stevie never wore one of the new-age Reebok uniforms. Call me picky but it wouldn't feel as authentic. Also, they are out of size Large. I am unsure what my size is and would like some recommendations from you all. I wear Size Large Nike t-shirts and Size Medium NFL jerseys (the new Nike ones). This site does not allow returns/exchanges when a purchase is made.

2) http://www.customthrowbackjerseys.com/products/STEVE-YZERMAN-Detroit-Red-Wings-2002-CCM-Throwback-Home-NHL-Hockey-Jersey.html

This one is more expensive but it is made by CCM which Stevie did wear. It's also got the '02 Cup patch which is neat. However, I am unsure if this website is legitimate or not. Also, I don't know what my size would be for this jersey.

Any input would be most appreciated. If you know another website/store where I can purchase a white Yzerman jersey I'd love to know. Thanks!

SportsK all the way. Amazing site. I recently bought a really cool jersey from them and then was bummed because it was too large. I sent it back and they returned a smaller size so fast that I was very impressed. A lot of people on this site including myself have had a great experience with them.

I know that NHL jerseys run a little big. I talked to Detroit Athletic and they recommended Medium. What are your thoughts? Would the size be the same for Reebok and CCM?

Oh, and between Reebok and CCM which would you recommend? I'm debating between Detroit Athletic (which carries Reebok) and some other website that carry CCM. Unfortunately sportsk is out of the picture because they don't have any white jerseys in my size. I need to order today or tomorrow at the latest.

my advice is to spend more $ and get the game worn style.....way better quality jerseys. you'll know when you're looking at one by the sizes available. they go by numbers for size not letters. size 48, 50, 52 etc.

Bought a Datsyuk winter classic jersey from Sportsk last winter and was very impressed (got it shipped to the UK as well), patches and everything. Would definitely recommend going to them for jerseys
