I don't think that's impossible given the spurts of positive play the Wings have shown at times, but this should have been the portion of the schedule where they banked points. A ton of home games, relatively weak opposition and they were playing really well before this losing streak.

January and Feburary are brutal. Maybe being on the road will be a blessing because their luck has turned at home, but eventually the travel and stiffer competition is going to wear on them.

Mantha and/or Pulkkinen may need to make an appearance sooner rather than later if these goal-scoring woes don't get solved quickly.

agree but we are known for giving up points to the bottom feeders we are the charity wings at times but I agree west games will hurt and so will Canadian trips if we don't get it going I think Mantha for sure should come up especially if we cant get anything going with offense I think this team seriously needs to think about making a big trade and than see what we can do with changing around this offense if it doesn't start up again

Gotta score more than one goal. Everything needs to come up a level. Passing is wretched, transition game has no flow or rhythm, hanging around the perimeter in the o-zone. Not nearly good enough.

everyone went cold at the same time Z is just wow and his my fav than goose and tats franzen.....always its just terrible when Weiss comes back as long as franzen doesn't get hurt or anything we will be all health forward wise so there is no excuse we cant get something going

I was at this one! My one game a year that I get to go to while visting the family. Not the most exciting game - both sides lacked energy. Had a beer spilled on me and my dad. Meh, always good to get to see game. Mrazek looked good!

Tough skid lately. I'm hoping that we find out that most of the team is fighting the flu and they'll go back to being the team they were a few weeks ago.

Nope. We're in the throes of regression, which is to be expected, but - and here's my concern - we're compounding the issue by playing shoddy hockey. Granted, you can play shoddy hockey and win some games, but it's going to catch up to you (see: the Leafs). It's almost like a morality play. "Be as Good as you can as regularly as you can and you'll get into Heaven The Playoffs."
