Wow. Sheer domination in every aspect. Slow forwards, weak goaltending and soft defense. The opposite of Boston.

Our soft eurotrash style doesn't match up well with this team. Better hope we don't face them in the playoffs.

Then again, we don't matchup well with Montreal either.

I don't know if its the defense roster as a whole or just how truly terrible Quincey, Lashoff and sometimes Smith are but that was some of the most embarrassing hockey I've watched this year. Ericsson and Kronwall-steady but not great, but ericsson is coming off one of the worst games I've ever seen him play, expected way more out of him.

Ericsson is out of his depth on the top pairing, he is at best suited for 3rd pairing/PK duties only

Can't win games when you don't play for an entire period. The Wings better end that bad habit real quick with a ton of road games and tough opponents coming up the next two months. They played well in spurts, but need more intensity for 60 minutes on a consistent basis.

The defense is just sorry, though. That's a problem that can't be fixed with effort or starting on time. Ouellet needs to be up permanently and Holland has to get creative and make a move for a top four d-man after failing to for years. The Wings aren't getting to the next level with this crop of d-men.

Clown shoes on a drunk baby giraffe. That's all I've got.

It was boys amongst men out there. I don't even want to know if Lucic and Bergeron were in the line up. That was terrible. Boy this team just doesn't look good right now.

Had Lucic and Bergeron been in the lineup, the Wings probably would've won. This is how it tends to work with the Wings.

On a team with a tremendous defensive corps maybe. But honestly I think he'd be fine in more of a 2nd pairing role.

The blueline is thin on talent so everyone not named Kronwall is playing a little over their heads.

 That's a good one.

I don't think so. Wings just can't compete with these big physical teams. That's the bottom line. They haven't beaten an above .500 team in a month. That was against the Rangers.

I know right. Top 5 in PP and PK and 6 points up on Boston.

This team sucks.

One of my favourite things though is how we can always count on you to swing by and ring the Illogical Bell of Doom.
