The strategy is to control the puck in the offensive zone as much as possible because the defense absolutely can't move the puck. Our forwards have to battle along the boards so much because we have nothing off the rush or from the point. The defense is worse than you think. We have a great forward group


Why do you think a rookie like Ouellette and DD step in and look so great? Because our defense is absolutely horrible

and this is why we need to move someone for a top D who can get it out of our zoe and advance are forwards and the way its going id see what Franzen Jurco and a 1st could get us

Holland only likes to acquire former former Red Wings, and will pay handsomely for them (like the Quincey trade)

only Weiss, Miller, Cleary, DeKeyser and Monster were not drafted by the Wings, if I'm not mistaken

I think Holland is obsessed with having a completely homegrown team lol
