Guess there is'nt room for another skater anyways, with some teams having multiple players in the game. They say every team needs a rep, yet Chicago has 5 players, Columbus 3, etc. Jokes. Its understandable. Yeah I know Chicago's players were voted in, and Columbus is host, but theres only so many spots available. If they want every team to have a rep, that kinda messes things up. Datsyuk and Zetterberg need to rest their bodies, plus they simply wouldn't appreciate it as much as the kids. I also wouldn't mind seeing Kronwall make it. I'm sure they'll just go with no Wings. The only way that a Wing goes is if there is a forward injury and then Datsyuk might get the call. I haven't thought much about what other forwards might be deserving, but even if someone deserved it more than Datsyuk, I could see him being an injury replacement just to get a Wing in the game. I mean the nhl managed to change this game from nice to whatever and now to ...well garbage and they are well on their way of doing the same with the winter classic. If it is a pain in the arse for players, then send Weiss or Franzen as punishment. I know ... teams don't send players, the NHL's office does but if it were up to the team.
