Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 I love how because it was the end of regulation they just allowed the Wings to get mauled in front of the net. 2 Hockeymom1960 and TheXym reacted to this
datterberg1340 626 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Ridiculous. Get E on the third pairing where he belongs. He has been terrible all season. No, you don't get it, see, Holland pays him like a top 4 d-man, so, therefore he is a top 4 d-man it's really quite simple
Ekmanc 586 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Providing an outlet pass per standard hockey protocol that Ericsson for whatever reason decided to not utilize. The pass wasn't that bad, the take down from Parise however was very elite. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this

TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Gave them a point they didn't deserve. Win this in the OT, keep the ROW tiebreaker over the Canadiens. Koivu was punking Zetterberg that shift, looked like Hank slashed at him afterwards. Glad he wasn't called for it.
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Disappointing, but in reality, the Wings got what they deserved. Just looks worse because they were up 4-1, but that was deceiving. Better win this in OT now. I'm thinking Gus again.

BottleOfSmoke 5,965 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 In what fresh hockey hell do we go into the 3rd up 4-1 and ultimately have to go to overtime?
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 The pass wasn't that bad, the take down from Parise however was very elite. I'm sure Parise thought the pass wasn't bad at all.
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 In what fresh hockey hell do we go into the 3rd up 4-1 and ultimately have to go to overtime? The hockey hell of having Jonathan Ericsson play on your top pairing. 1 datterberg1340 reacted to this
Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 I demand Nyquist skate with the puck for 2 straight minutes and score with half a second left. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
Y19 2,488 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 In what fresh hockey hell do we go into the 3rd up 4-1 and ultimately have to go to overtime? It's fresh and squishy and the Wings stepped in it!
Ekmanc 586 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) I'm sure Parise thought the pass wasn't bad at all. Just as good as your sense of humor I imagine. Let me try to make a hard knee high pass by you then and we'll see how many out of a 100 that you manage to bat down and stop right on your blade... That particular hell isn't so very fresh anymore as far as I'm concerned! It's been moldering in the back of the fridge for a while.

Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Ericsson is allowed back on the ice? If that had been Weiss ice time he'd already skated would be ripped back through time and taken away.

You know what guarantees that an elite NHL player isn't going to intercept a pass right in front of my net? Not passing it right in front of my net when I have options on either side of me that are wide open and waiting for the puck. I'm have no idea why you're defending Ericsson in this case. Its pretty cut and dry a stupid decision by him, especially nursing a one-goal lead deep in the third, and one of several unforced turnovers that he's committed in this game. 1 datterberg1340 reacted to this

joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 The pass went into his body, not that hard to knock down. Great play by Parise but 99 times out of 100 a defensemen doesn't make that pass.
