hazay19 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2015 Hi Group, Detroit born, die hard Wings fan here, who happens to be living in Florida at the moment. I watch every single game on NHL live and I was able to save up and purchase two tickets to tomorrow's game in Tampa (I live in the Orlando area). My girlfriend is from England and I have turned her into a die hard Wings fan, as well. Here favorite player is Nyquist and she calls him Nyquil because he puts people to sleep with his sick moves. So, I want to make sure her first Red Wings game in person will be an experience she will never forget. Our tickets are second row and we are getting to the arena right at 5pm, when it opens, to make sure, we can watch the entire pre-game skate. Hopefully, they when 10-0, but even if they lose 10-1, we will stay til the very end and cheer our heads off when they score. So, I was thinking, if we make a sign, maybe we would get lucky enough to have one of the wings throw us a puck during the pre-game skate. I was thinking something about U.K.'s Biggest Red Wings Fan of Wings would beat both All Star teams, but I'm not super creative. Any creative ideas would be appreciated. Also, when I watch wings games, sometimes they show them getting on the bus and there are a hand full of fans that get a quick autograph. Has anyone done this. I don't want to bother the Wings pre-game, but was wondering if we could get our jerseys signed quickly. Look forward to any thoughts or responses, Best Regards, Hazay19 "Jack"

vladdy16 2,154 Report post Posted January 29, 2015 Legible signs take a long time to make, so keep it short. I would hold up something mentioning the fact she's from the UK. Cute Wings fan from England should score a puck fairly easily. Maybe even be straightforward - "I flew all the way from England to get a Wings' puck!" And then something saying hi to Nyquist on the other side.
