Because they have scored a ton of goals -- overcoming the bunches Mrazek has been giving up. Except tonight they aren't going to overcome his inability to stop anything.

I will take my chances with Jimmy in regulation over Mrazek maybe winning in a shootout. Jimmy more than makes up for his shootout struggles.

Mrazek has given up four goals in three straight starts now and got pulled after three in the first period against Buffalo. The Wings have won, but it was going to catch up eventually.

This stretch of games has pretty much proven Mrazek is not ready. They were winning despite him. Looks like a rookie. Hopefully in the long run this struggle makes him stronger. Soft goals and when he is making a save the rebound always seems to be kicked out into a prime scoring spot.

Sad to say that Mrazek is not up to snuff. He makes great saves but the softies are too much. Don't know why the wings are having so much difficulty killing a penalty. I imagine their pp wil go down the toilet too.

Defense isn't good enough simple as that.

Abby is turning into the player with the most heart in this team.

I agree. But it's great he's getting the NHL experience he is getting. Just think what we would have to have done if he wouldn't have stepped up like he has though. Both our #1 and #2 out at the same time?

the difference between marazek and jimmy is jimmy is a starting NHL goalie and lets in softies and gives up, and marazek lets in more softies and is a AHL goalie. also, 2 on 1 is a soft goal? short side snipe is a soft goal? the only goal that i think was soft was the one timer by stamkos..even then "one timer by stamkos on the power play"
